February 2006 - Dormant Gothic Church, Otsego County, NY
Upstate New York's back roads and county two-lanes are beautified by old country churches. This photograph could just as easily been taken a century ago.

November 2003 - Restored nineteenth century schoolhouse, Bramanville, NY.
A larger scale version of the one-room schoolhouse with beautifully restored elements: corner boards, horizontal clapboard siding (vertical tongue-and-groove beneath lower fenestration), six-over-six mullioned windows, stick gable returns, standing-seam roofing and open-stick belfry with pyramidal roof.

August 2019 - Corner of Jay & Hubbard Streets, Amsterdam, NY
The abandoned tenement appeared coop-like as if a stock of white doves might suddenly dispatch from its upper broken windows.

Winter 2001 - Adirondack Power & Light from State Route 5.

December 2014 - New York City water supply (seven 35mm frames)

January 2007 - Swan Street, Albany, NY.

February 2008 - Broad Street Aqueduct, Rochester, NY
Abandoned, the Broad Street Aqueduct was originally constructed to direct the Erie Canal across the Genesee River before it was paved for automobiles. During the decades surrounding World War II, two miles of Rochester's light rail system passed through here.

November 2001 - English Barn, Delaware County, NY
An English barn on a high-lying farm in upstate New York can appear as natural as an outcropping when left alone. The old barns were built from the land, using slate, field stone and harvested hardwoods. The ramp or bank leading to the upper-level interior of this barn also serves as a dyke, distinguishing it from typical bank barns.
